Tube Thermocouple or RTD. The tube fitting can be from 1/4" o.d. tubing of brass or stainless steel. We can make them in most any kind of fitting available such as the straight connector shown, tee's, ells and others.
This is an example of a very small RTD that was made for a bearing block with a spring loaded attachement. The outside diameter of this RTD is 1/8" and it is a 3 wire, 100 ohm platinmum RTD. These units can be made in the standard 0.1% accuracy elements up to the high accuracy band 5 units (0.01% ).
Above are examples of remote heads coupled with PVC covered armor. The picture on the left is a spring loaded heat sensor ( can be Thermocouple or RTD) with 3' of PVC covered armor and terminated in an aluminum weather proof thermal head.
The picture on the right is a heat sensor attached to the flanged thermowell using a compression fitting modified for the heat sensor sheath. The armor is PVC covered and terminates in our explosion proof head. This head is the "X" series head.
This picture depicts a closeup of our "Cuttable" RTD or thermocouple. The cuttable thermocouple is an Mgo style thermocouple the is cuttable down to the ring on the sheath. This would allow you to stock a length and cut as needed to shorter couples thereby allowing less stock to cover several lengths.
